Pet Parade

The 2010 Pet Parade will be held on Friday, June 11th at EXPO New Mexico.  Registration opens at 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm located in front of the Pride Office (See EXPO Map).  Fill out form during registration.   Ribbons will be award for “best of” categories.  Lizards, iguanas, snakes, fish in bowls, and birds in cages are welcome!  Dogs and cats can come, too.

Pet Policy for Friday

Pets of all kinds are welcome on Friday Night?   Don’t let the dogs rule again!  Please make sure all pets are leashed and can get along with many people and other animals.   Fish do not have to be put on a leash.   Albuquerque Pride reserves the right to have any animals removed for any reason.  Entrance fees will not be reimbursed.

Pet Policy for Saturday

Parade: Pets are welcome in the 2010 Pride Parade, but it is a 2.7 mile rout in June.   Please bring and have a plan if the pet cannot make the entire route.

Pridefest: NO PETS ALLOWED at the Pridefest on Saturday with the exception of working/service animals.  PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE PET IN A CAR AT EXPO NM.  Due to the large crowds and numbers of children present, it is simply not safe for either the animals or humans.   If a pet is brought to Pridefest, the pet will have to be removed from the event.
