Volunteer Information

Volunteers are essential for successful events!

The Albuquerque Pride, Inc. Volunteer Board meets all year long but it takes nearly 100 volunteers to make the Parade and PrideFest happen. Get involved and you can make a difference in how successful Pride Day is for everyone. It is a great way to meet people if you are new in town and want to see how Pride is run. There are several positions and locations at pride you can participate. All volunteers, except those working barter hours for an organization, will receive a staff t-shirt if you volunteer for 10 or more hours.

There are many volunteer opportunities at our other events throughout the year besides PrideFest and the Parade. Please let us know if you are interested in participating at other events through out the year. Thank you!

I have been in the LGBT community in Albuquerque going on 10 years, and am looking forward to working with all of the volunteers to make 2012 an awesome year for Albuquerque Pride Inc.!”
