What is a New Mexico Pride Titleholder?
The winning titleholders will be our ambassadors to the world. As the face of Pride, the titleholders find opportunities to engage the community, educate, and bring awareness of our LGBT culture through entertainment and appearances.
What is the Process to Become a Titleholder?
Your first task is to download the Application Packet, then return the complete application by the application deadline. Contestants are judged on their Platform, Clubwear, On-stage Platform Overview, Talent, Formal Evening Wear, and an On-stage Interview.
There are four categories for both adult titles and the youth titles; combined there are eight positions to fill each year. Here are the details…
- Mr. – defined as a self-identified male competing as a male
- Miss – defined as a self-identified male competing as a female
- Ms. – defined as a self-identified female competing as a female
- MsTer – defined as a self-identified female competing as a male
