What Does It Mean to Be a Board Member?

The Pride Board consists of the Executive Committee, Board of Directors and the Planning Committee. These sixteen board members work all year long to produce the New Mexico Pride Pageant, OUTstanding Awards, Pride Parade and PrideFest. Elections are held for the Board in August. Meetings are held at least monthly and are open to the community.  As the largest and most successful GLBT organization in New Mexico it has become an honor for those who have served on this board.   Please note that this is a “working” board and many volunteer hours are needed to successfully produce and promote this event if you are board member for Albuquerque Pride, Inc. If not interested in a Board Position, you might want to volunteer for a committee chair or for Albuquerque Pride events scheduled throughout the year.
