In August every year we hold elections for board positions, review yearly financial reports and summarize the year in review. If you are interested in becoming a board member or would like more information about ABQ Pride and how to get involved, please attend!

Available Board Positions

  • Director (8 director positions available; 1-year term, starts September 1, 2018)
    • Directors of the Albuquerque Pride Board are essential members of the board and are instrumental in ensuring activities of the board a completed timely and with innovation. There are multiple director positions on the board which focus on one or more of the following areas: education, development, event planning, social media and marketing, public relations, public speaking, accounting and booking keeping and many more. Each director serves under an executive board member.
      • 1 Director to the President will have a focus on sponsorship and partnerships with other organizations.
      • 1 Director to the Treasurer will have a focus on fundraising
      • 3 Directors to Operations will have a focus on event creation, coordination and deployment.
      • 3 Directors to Public Relations will have a focus on organization and event marketing, social and community involvement and volunteering.
